Gentle, non-invasive therapy for all the family

Supporting the body and nervous system with gentle, thoughtful care that works alongside medical treatment when needed.

...When you feel something just isn't right.

I've been right there. You know in your gut there is something that's not right, but everything you've been told by your doctor, paediatrician, midwife, health visitor, or medical professional has had limited effect, or instead, plastered over root cause of your problems. When you have been prescribed medications which you feel are not addressing the root cause or are giving you unpleasant side effects. When you are just looking to resolve the root cause of your symptoms and willing to explore what complementary therapy might be able to offer. Because your symptoms are messages from your body to you that something is out of sync. Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy is a holistic, all body, non-invasive hands on therapy working from the depths of your nervous system and supporting healing from the inside-out. In a world where stress and trauma, both physical and emotional, are increasing as the decades pass, sometimes it's worth looking deeper into whether there is another way to support your body back to health....

How Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy helps

Craniosacral therapy works by the practitioner listening to the client's craniosacral system, where there are blockages, where there is tension, where the priorities are to help resolve the root cause of any symptoms you are experiencing, and support the body to unwind what is held. The practitioner looks for the health, which is always present in us, from the moment we were conceived. We don't look for problems, we look for the health, and help the body direct itself back to exactly this. And the key thing is, everything is connected to everything else...

  • Focuses on supporting nervous system regulation which enables the practitioner to listen and support the resolution of symptoms from the root
  • Fascial unwinding from the release of held patterns of conditioning
  • Supports the body's ability to return to it's original blueprint of health, designed at the outset in utero.

Introducing myself

I’m Lisa Mann and I’m a registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist. I have also just graduated from a nine-month top-up paediatric craniosacral therapy course. This builds on my core training and deepens my expertise in the gentle and effective work with newborns and babies, and younger (under 8 years old) children. I will also be offering a range of massage therapies from September 2026.

So why did I train in biodynamic craniosacral therapy? Simply put, a very personal, difficult birth experience, a difficult baby feeding experience, and poor baby sleep, not forgetting personal sleep deprivation. My experience took me through oral dysfunction, baby birth trauma, and speech issues. Along the way, one amazing provider suggested I train in craniosacral therapy because of my growing passion to help other families recover from similar experiences. Little did I know at that time that craniosacral therapy was equally for older children and adults! Within three weeks I had committed thousands of pounds in an intensive two-year course in exactly that, alongside living anatomy and physiology for another nine months simultaneously. Training in biodynamic craniosacral therapy was much more of a vocation, and the passion I have for supporting anyone from newborns, babies to older children and adults is off the scale. When it comes to being passionate about what I do, it is, truly a passion that will last many years to come.
